''Island'' is a book of short stories by Alistair MacLeod, first published in 2000 by McClelland and Stewart. 〔 〕 The book collects all of the short stories published in MacLeod's earlier collections, ''The Lost Salt Gift of Blood'' and ''As Birds Bring Forth the Sun and Other Stories'', as well as two previously unpublished stories. The volume was published because the success of MacLeod's 1999 debut novel ''No Great Mischief'' revived interest in MacLeod's prior work, which was largely out of print by this time. ==Stories== * "The Boat" * "The Vastness of the Dark" * "The Golden Gift of Grey" * "The Return" * "In the Fall" * "The Lost Salt Gift of Blood" * "The Road to Rankin's Point" * "The Closing Down of Summer" * "To Every Thing There Is a Season" * "Second Spring" * "Winter Dog" * "The Tuning of Perfection" * "As Birds Bring Forth the Sun" * "Vision" * "Island" * "Clearances" 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Island (book)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
